The honest origin story: I am a dad who cannot dress a child correctly. Not for lack of trying. I just have no reliable system for translating "it's a bit grey out" into an actual outfit.
I looked for an app that would just tell me what to put on her. Something that checked the weather and said "here's what she needs today." I couldn't find one that did it simply, so I built it.
Little Layers asks a few things about your child, checks the forecast, and gives you a daily outfit suggestion. There's also an overnight layering mode for working out sleep layers — which, if you've ever stood over a cot at midnight wondering whether the 2.5 tog was a mistake, you'll understand.
