Linkeddit

See where AI answer engines recommend competitors over you

See why buyers choose your competitors. Track what they ship, where their customers are unhappy, and when AI recommends them instead of you.

Hey Product Hunt 👋

This launch is a near total rebuild of Linkeddit, so here is what changed and why.

The short version: buyers now make up their minds before they ever talk to you. They read reviews, they notice what a competitor just shipped, and more and more of them simply ask ChatGPT or Google's AI which tool to use and trust the shortlist they get back. Most SaaS teams can't see any of that. You find out a competitor changed its pricing when you lose a deal. And you have no idea whether the AI engines recommend you, a rival, or nobody at all.

So we rebuilt Linkeddit around one goal: win the buyer before your competitor does.

It is now three products on one plan.

1. Answer Radar

See when ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode recommend a competitor instead of you, and exactly which sources they cited to get there.

- Ask the real buying questions your customers ask. If you connect Google Search Console, your top queries seed the question set, so you are measuring what people actually search for, not guesses.

- Track recommendation rate, share of voice, average position, sentiment and citation share across every engine, week over week.

- See the gaps: the questions where a competitor gets named and you don't, with the pages the engine pulled from.

- Ship a fix, then verify it. Run the same questions again and see whether the engines changed their answer.

- Schedule it, get a digest, share a link or export to CSV.

2. Compete

A weekly, graded brief on up to 12 competitors, so you stop learning about their moves from your sales calls.

- Watch their blog and changelog, their pricing and other key pages, and market news.

- Every move is sorted into launch, pricing, partnership, funding, messaging, hiring or customer pain, then graded as high priority, worth watching or low signal.

- Every signal is dated and cited, and tied back to your own product so you know why it matters to you.

- Their customer reviews from G2, Capterra, TrustRadius and Trustpilot are collected in one place. Filter to three stars or fewer and you have a ready list of what their customers are unhappy about.

- An "analyzed this week" panel shows exactly which sources were checked, so nothing is a black box.

3. Search

Google rankings, with the AI Overview layer most rank trackers ignore.

- Weekly rank checks for your tracked keywords, with the ranking page, the change, and who holds position one.

- For every keyword: is there an AI Overview, and does it cite you?

- With Search Console connected, compare click-through on queries with and without an AI Overview so you can see what it is actually costing you.

- Topics group your keywords and flag striking distance pages, gaps and cannibalisation.

- A Map of related searches and People Also Ask questions, so you can see the whole space around a keyword.

- A Watchlist for pages you just changed. It compares two equal Search Console windows and tells you plainly whether the edit helped, hurt or needs more data.

The part I am most excited about: it works inside your AI assistant

Linkeddit ships an MCP connector for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and Claude Code. One URL, sign in with OAuth, no API key to paste. Your assistant gets direct access to your Answer Radar results, competitor briefs, reviews, rankings and Search Console data.

That changed how we think about the product. We made a deliberate choice: Linkeddit collects and measures the evidence, and your own assistant does the analysis and the writing. We are not another AI writer stapled onto a dashboard. You already have a great assistant. What it lacks is data it can't get on its own: what six answer engines said this week, what your competitors changed, what their customers complain about, and where you rank.

So instead of reading charts, you can ask things like:

- Why does ChatGPT recommend our competitor for this question, and what would it take to change that?

- What did our top three competitors ship this month, and which moves should worry us?

- Pull the one and two star reviews for our biggest rival and group the complaints into themes.

Who it is for

SaaS founders and growth teams with real competitors and no dedicated analyst, product marketers who own positioning and comparison pages, SEO and content teams working on AI visibility alongside Google, and agencies doing this work for clients.

Pricing

One plan, $60 a month, with Compete, Answer Radar, Search and the full connector included. No sales call, no enterprise contract. We also have 27 free tools on the site if you want to kick the tires first.

What I would love from you

Run your brand through it and tell me what surprised you. Which engine ignores you? Which competitor keeps showing up where you should be? And if something feels confusing or missing, tell me here. I am reading every comment today and shipping fixes fast.

Thanks for the support 🙏
