Hey PH 👋

I'm Shennoki, the solo dev behind Linguavia.

I kept downloading language apps and deleting them three weeks later. Too loud, too much pressure, too much guilt. Then I read Udo Gollub's "Wie man jede Sprache in nur 7 Wochen lernt" and finally understood why nothing stuck... the timing was wrong.

So I built the app I actually wanted: calm, quiet, and based on the classic Leitner method. 5 boxes, reviews at 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 days. Words come back exactly when you'd start to forget them.

What's inside:

  • Faithful Leitner intervals

  • Speak mode (A1 → C2) with a verb conjugation engine

  • VerbTrainer for the form you keep missing

  • A daily word from the target culture

  • 12 target languages (and more coming), UI in DE / EN / TR / SQ

Linguavia is in active beta. I'm shipping updates constantly and shaping it around real feedback. Linguavia is free to start. There's also founder pricing for early supporters: 5.99 CHF (~$7), one-time, lifetime, 200 spots - a real cap, I won't quietly raise it later. Early supporters get in cheap and help steer where it goes.

One question for you: what's the one thing that makes you quit a language app? That's exactly what I tried to fix here.

Who hunted Linguavia?

Linguavia was hunted by Shennoki. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
