I'm Ralf, an indie developer, and LexiChain is my take on the word game.
The idea: you get a hidden word and have to rebuild it letter by letter — but every letter must be answered with a *different* word from the same category, before a per-letter clock runs out. Get TOMATO in "Vegetables"? Give me a vegetable starting with T… then O… then M. It's recall under pressure, and it's weirdly addictive.
A few things I cared about:
• No ads, no tracking, no account — every word list lives on your device and it plays fully offline.
• Local duels: race a friend in the same room over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Same word, same second, highest score wins — no servers involved.
• 38 categories across 8 themes, 8 of them free forever. Three difficulties from Relaxed to brutal Expert.
