I'm Melih, and I built Let's Work because I was frustrated.
Every project management tool I tried either: • Was so complex I needed training to use it (Jira) • Started simple but added features until it wasn't (Notion, ClickUp) • Required my credit card before I could even try it
So I built what I actually wanted: a task tracker that respects my time.
**The philosophy is simple:** Every feature we DON'T build is a decision. We said no to Gantt charts, time tracking, custom fields, and complex workflows. Not because they're bad—but because most small teams don't need them, and adding them makes the tool harder for everyone.
**What makes Let's Work different:**
1. **5-minute setup** – No configuration wizards. Create a project, add tasks, invite your team. Done.
2. **Real encryption** – Your data is encrypted with AES-256. Per-organization keys. Even we can't read your projects. This matters if you're in healthcare, legal, or just value privacy.
3. **Free forever for individuals** – No trial period tricks. No feature gates on basic functionality.
