It also helps you find large photos and videos in Photos and choose supported items to make smaller. Lens replaces selected originals after confirmation; compression can affect quality, and changes sync through iCloud Photos when enabled. Keep separate originals if full quality matters. Smaller files may help you avoid a storage upgrade, but Lens doesn’t change your plan. Any money saving depends on your total usage and the cost of Lens.
