Leela Online
An ancient self-knowledge game with a built-in AI guide
Leela Online is the ancient Indian game of self-knowledge (Gyan Chauper: 72 squares, snakes and arrows) played online with a built-in AI guide who leads your game one-on-one — asking questions, not giving answers. Bring one real question, roll the dice, and walk the board to your own answer in an evening. Three free starts, no card.
Hi Product Hunt! I'm Alexander.
Leela (Gyan Chauper) is an ancient Indian board game of self-knowledge - the ancestor of Snakes and Ladders, before it lost its meaning. 72 squares, each one a state of mind. In modern practice you need a facilitator to play it properly.
I fell in love with the game, but couldn't recommend it to anyone: no facilitator, no game. So I built one in. An AI guide leads your game one-on-one - it helps you shape the question you actually came with, talks with you about every square you land on, and asks instead of advising.
A game takes about an evening, in the browser. The Russian version has been running since 2025 and has hosted 1,600+ player games - 800+ of them with a real question the game accepted. The English version is new, and I'd genuinely love your honest feedback on whether the format holds you.
Three starts are free, no card. Bring one real question.
