Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I built LedgerBridge because so many banks only export CSV, but QuickBooks, Quicken and most other finance apps want QBO/QFX/OFX. The converters I found either upload your statements to someone's server or bill you every month. LedgerBridge is one HTML file that you open in your browser. It blocks network access, so your data stays on your machine. It also: - detects columns, date formats (US/EU) and number formats on its own - checks each row against the running balance and highlights the exact row that doesn't match before you import - keeps transaction IDs stable, so importing overlapping data doesn't create duplicates - includes a batch CLI for bookkeepers How I tested it: every output file parses with zero errors in libofx, the OFX library GnuCash uses, and the transactions came through correctly in GnuCash's own import screen. In fairness, I haven't tested it directly in QuickBooks or Quicken yet. If you use either one, I'd love to hear how the import goes. It costs $19 once ($49 for bookkeepers with clients). No subscription and no account. It doesn't do PDF/OCR; it starts from CSV. Questions and feedback welcome!
