Leafwork

Free local-first PDF tools, no uploads needed

Leafwork is a free local-first PDF toolkit for everyday document cleanup: merge, split, convert images, redact, sign, rotate, watermark, strip metadata, and use a browser sandbox without uploading files for enabled core workflows.

Top comment

I built Leafwork because common PDF tasks should not require uploading private documents to a random server. The enabled core tools run locally in the browser: merge, split, PDF to images, images to PDF, watermark, sign, redact, rotate, metadata strip, and sandbox workflows. Compression, PDF-to-Word, and summarize are still marked coming soon while I improve quality and privacy. I would genuinely appreciate feedback on the sandbox workflow and whether the privacy model is clear.

Who hunted Leafwork?

Leafwork was hunted by Harsh. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post.
