Hi Product Hunt! I'm Pin, a solo developer.
I built Layer Diary because I noticed a recurring problem with traditional journaling: it often turns into a negative reflection or becomes too tedious to maintain.
To fix this, I designed a simple constraint—write only 3 positive things that happened today. Even small things like "The weather was nice." This approach prevents negative spirals and builds mental resilience.
I also added a "Layer" feature to easily compare your current self with your past self from a week, month, or year ago to clearly see your progress.
To remove all friction and respect your privacy, the app is 100% free, requires no account, and stores data only in your personal iCloud.
