Hi Product Hunt — LaunchCheck NYC is a free prototype for people evaluating storefronts for restaurants, retail, fitness, and other street-level businesses.
Pre-lease information is scattered across multiple city and state datasets, written for specialists, and often applies to the building rather than the exact storefront. LaunchCheck resolves an address, checks selected official records, separates storefront readiness from business-specific readiness, preserves source links, and lowers completeness when a source is unavailable. Each completed report can generate a landlord verification pack or join a two-to-three-location comparison.
It does not approve zoning, occupancy, licensing, construction, or a lease. It is an early screening tool meant to help users ask better questions before involving architects, engineers, attorneys, and other professionals.
The prototype is free. The most useful feedback would be: what information would materially change your decision to investigate or reject a storefront?
