Hello Product Hunt!
What inspired this and the problem solved:
We actually created the first version of this package 5 years ago when we had to build our very first Eupago integration. At the time, we only needed the absolute essentials—Multibanco, MB WAY, and basic webhook callbacks—so we built a simple wrapper to solve our immediate problem. It did its job perfectly and barely changed for five years.
How the process evolved:
Recently, we decided it was time to completely modernize the codebase. We updated it to support the latest Laravel versions (up to Laravel 13) and introduced modern tooling like Unit Tests, Laravel Pint, and Larastan to ensure code quality.
While modernizing, we went beyond the basics and added support for PayShop, PaysafeCard, and Refunds. It has evolved from a minimal internal tool into a robust, production-ready package. There is still plenty to do—like adding Credit Card support and other payment methods—but we wanted to open-source it now to help other developers in the ecosystem.
I would love to hear your thoughts, answer any technical questions, or take feedback on what features we should prioritize next!
