I’m based in Toronto (the most diverse city in the world!). My travels through Europe, Africa, and South America taught me one thing: Language is the ultimate icebreaker.
I natively speak English, Igbo, and Pidgin, but while learning French and Spanish, I hit a wall. I loved Duolingo for the basics, but eventually, the content felt 'regurgitated.' I tried immersion tools like Migaku, but let’s be honest—social media has a chokehold on my generation. I couldn't stop doom-scrolling.
So I thought: Why fight the scroll? Why not make the scroll productive?I’ve spent the last 3 months building Langscroll. As an engineer who’s interned at 5+ software shops, I have a high bar for quality. While I used Claude Code to help move fast, I’ve personally architected every service to ensure this isn't just 'vibe coding'—it’s a robust tool for serious learners.
