kumi

Engineering team of specialists in Claude Code, led by yui

kumi adds an engineering team to Claude Code, with one coordinator, yui, as your single point of contact. Describe the work in one sentence or a full spec. yui asks about anything left open, states the plan, waits for your go-ahead, and hands each step to the right specialist. Every stack (Go, Angular, iOS, Python, React) has a builder, a debugger and a read-only reviewer. Decisions and progress are saved in the project.

Hi! kumi turns Claude Code into a small engineering team. You talk to one coordinator, yui. It asks about what is unclear, shows a plan, and waits for your go-ahead before anything starts. Then each step goes to a specialist with one job: builders write code, debuggers fix one specific bug, and reviewers only read and report. When a specialist finishes, yui reports back and you can change the plan before the next step. For a quick question, you can call a specialist directly by name, for example /aki review this component, without going through yui. The latest release, 1.4.0, came from a security review: state that comes with a cloned repository is never followed on its own, and a project rules file applies only after you confirm its exact content with /kumi:trust. I would like to hear how it works on your projects, and what is missing.

Who hunted kumi?

kumi was hunted by Anna Veretennykova. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
