Why we built KUAN KUAN Store started with a real reselling business. We were shipping assorted goods from Germany to our hometown in the Philippines and selling them locally. Everything ran on Excel — boxes in transit, daily sales, inventory on the shelves. The data was scattered across spreadsheets, and honestly, we couldn't even tell if the business was profitable. So we built an app. The first prototype was rough — a few screens, very basic, no polish — but it worked. We could finally see what was in stock, what had sold, and what was on its way. For the first time, we knew exactly where our business stood. That's when it clicked: other shop owners and resellers were dealing with the same chaos. If a few taps could track boxes, log sales, and generate a business report — that's hours saved for anyone running a small store. We started building KUAN Store properly in 2023, and a lot of ideas, feedback, and improvements have shaped the app since.
