Kordio

The control plane for money your software moves

Kordio is a policy layer for AI agents that can spend money or take actions. Before an action runs, Kordio checks it against your rules and returns an allowed, approval-required, or denied decision. Allowed decisions are signed with a short-lived ES256 JWS that your executor can verify offline.

Top comment

Hi Product Hunt 👋 We built Kordio after pointing an agent at our own money and realising we couldn’t answer a simple question: **is this specific agent allowed to do this specific thing, right now?** Cards know the amount and merchant. Prompts are suggestions. Dashboards show what already happened. None of them can refuse. Kordio sits in front of the action: * `201` allowed. Budget reserved, decision signed. * `202` approval needed. Reservation held while a person approves. * `403` denied. Nothing reserved, with the rule that blocked it. Every allowed decision comes with a short-lived ES256 JWS that your executor can verify offline. No callback, no shared secret. If the agent skipped Kordio, it has nothing to present. And it’s not just money. `payment.create` and `tool.invoke` use the same policy and, by default, the same budget. One ceiling across everything an agent does. We hold no funds or credentials. We’re a required signer, never a custodian. If we can’t answer, there’s no signature. Kordio Control is early access: self-serve, free sandbox, same policy engine as live, no card required. Live starts at $49/month, based on dollars agents are authorized to move, not API calls. Denials are never billed. We’ll be here all day. **Tell us how this breaks.**

Who hunted Kordio?

Kordio was hunted by Tomás Almeida. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
