Top comment

Hey Product Hunt I’m building KOMPR because I’ve felt this problem myself. The creative industry is moving really fast right now. Deadlines are shorter, clients need things yesterday, and finding the right VFX artist can take way too much time. Sometimes the hardest part is not even doing the work, it’s finding the right person to start with. At the same time, I don’t think artists should have to lose a percentage of every project or pay just to apply for work. Their reel and their skills should be enough to start a real conversation. KOMPR is my attempt to make that process simpler: help producers, studios, brands, and clients find VFX artists faster, and give artists a cleaner way to be discovered.

Who hunted Kompr?

Kompr was hunted by Nikola Bobic. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
