Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Bennett, the maker of koi.photo. I’ve used Photoshop, Affinity and Photopea for years, and wanted a browser editor that feels like a real desktop app: layers that stay editable, keyboard shortcuts your hands already know, PSD files that open properly, and no ads or sign-up wall. I've loved Photopea in the past but I just feel we can get a better product with modern web APIs! What you can try in 30 seconds: - Open koi.photo and drop in a photo (or click the sample). - Choose Select ▸ Subject, add a Curves adjustment and click Mask: only the subject changes, and it stays editable. - Open a PSD and look at the layers. It all runs in your browser. Select Subject and Remove Background use an AI model on your own GPU, so your photo isn’t uploaded. If you want, a free account adds cloud storage and share links where you can edit together live.
