Kith

Local coordination for parallel coding agents

Run Claude Code, Codex and Cursor CLI side by side. Kith adds scoped work claims, isolated Git worktrees, shared port reservations and supervised command locks through MCP. Check the combined result with your project's verification command before integration. Failed checks keep the target unchanged and preserve the worktree. Free, open source and local—no hosted service required.

Top comment

I maintain Kith. Separate worktrees keep agents' working files apart, but they still need to agree on who owns a task and when a shared port or command is available. Kith provides that shared local state through MCP for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor CLI. You choose the tasks, scopes and verification command. Failed verification preserves the source worktree and leaves the integration target unchanged. Install: npm install --global kith-coord@0.1.1, then run kith init --dry-run in your repository to inspect setup before applying it. Full supervised-command workflows require macOS, Linux or WSL; native Windows has partial MCP support. Claims require cooperating agents and aren't a filesystem sandbox. If you're running parallel agents on a real task, tell me the clients, OS and the part that's causing trouble. I can help with setup and work through a task here. The useful result is work completed through your existing checks and review—not another install count.
