Hi Product Hunt! I built KinStatus because I live far from my aging parents and the daily "are you OK?" phone calls were stressful for both sides. Now they tap one button each day and I see "Mom is OK" on my phone. If a check-in is missed, the family gets notified. There's a "Call me" button, an "I need help" alert and phone battery/signal status. Location is shared only with their consent — this is care, not tracking. It works in English, Bulgarian, Romanian, Spanish and Polish, and it's free for 30 days. I'd love to hear how you keep an eye on your own parents from a distance.
