Hi Product Hunt! I'm sharing KINBOUND, a browser game built around three spirit companions and the choices you make with them.
In the solo campaign, you explore three chapters and 18 encounters, collect 30 spirits, and choose between two evolution paths for each. Enemies reveal their next action, so your turn is about planning: spend energy on a tactic, switch in a reserve, or commit to an attack. Evolution changes a spirit's strengths and tradeoffs, and you can change unlocked paths at camp.
The game is free to play and needs no account. It includes English and Chinese, browser autosaves with file import/export, and a separate invite-link mode for battles with a friend. The friend mode currently uses six starting spirits; the larger collection belongs to the solo campaign.
The artwork is pre-generated with Image Gen. Battles use fixed rules, and the public version doesn't call an AI model while you play.
Start with the campaign link; the language switch is in the top bar. I'd love to hear which team you chose, where a rule felt unclear, and which evolution tradeoff was hardest to decide.
