KidWatch
Understand your child’s YouTube without spying or blocking
KidWatch helps parents understand what their child watches on YouTube without spying or blocking. It turns recent YouTube watch history into an AI safety report with harmful language, timestamps, top channels, watch patterns, parent action items and more. Built for parents who want visibility, context, and better conversations not surveillance.
Hey everyone - I built KidWatch because this became personal for me as a parent.
My 8-year-old watches YouTube, and like many parents, I realized I did not always know what he was actually hearing, learning, or repeating from the videos he watched. Blocking everything felt too extreme, but doing nothing did not feel right either.
Most parental control tools help parents block apps or set limits. KidWatch is different. It turns recent YouTube watch history into a clear AI based safety report with harmful language, timestamps, top channels, watch patterns, and parent action items. We look at every single phrase spoken with deep context.
The goal is not spying or surveillance. It is giving parents enough context to have better, calmer conversations with their kids.
Would love feedback from parents, builders, and anyone thinking about child safety online.
