Kidfile
Organize. Share. Care. One place. One Link. Done
Kidfile was built by my wife and me as parents of four kids. She steered much of the product direction because this was a real pain point in our home: allergies, routines, emergency contacts, school details, sizes, and caregiver notes were scattered everywhere. We couldn’t find a simple solution, so we built one secure care card parents can update and share.
My wife and I built Kidfile because we struggled with the same problem parents do with our 4 kids. Parents are expected to remember and share a million little details about their kids, but that information is usually scattered across texts, screenshots, notes, school forms, and someone’s memory.
Allergies, medication notes, emergency contacts, shoe sizes, routines, caregiver instructions... it adds up fast.
Kidfile is our attempt to make that simpler: one clean place for parents to keep the important stuff, update it when needed, and share it with the people helping care for their child.
This is still early, and I’m excited to keep improving it with feedback from real parents, caregivers, and families.

Who hunted Kidfile?
Kidfile was hunted by Jaime Davis. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
