Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Mohamed, and I built Kiddiel because I ran out of stories. My kid wanted one more every night, and every night I was recycling the same three plots with the names swapped. Kiddiel is the thing I wanted at 9pm: you tell it who the story is about, and it hands you a draft to read out loud. I want to be blunt about one thing, because it's the whole design: the parent is still the storyteller. Kiddiel just drafts. It doesn't read to your child. It doesn't try to be your kid's friend. It's a starting point for the person doing the reading — the part where you do the voices is not the part I'm trying to automate. A few honest notes so nobody has to dig: - Stories are generated on-device on the default path, so they stay on your phone by default. No account required to start. - Free tier is 5 stories a month and one child profile — enough to know if it's for you. - Premium is $5.99/mo or $49.99/yr. There's a Max tier at $10.99/$99.99 for higher-end illustrations. Cancel in Settings, no maze. - iOS only for now, in 13 languages. I'd genuinely rather hear where it falls flat than where it shines. So: what's the thing your kid asks for that no story app ever gets right? I've been surprised by these answers before and shipped changes because of them. I'm in the comments all day.
