hey product hunt,
i built kickstart because i loved the tree-based StartTreeV2 concept, but the long configuration URLs and GitHub Pages load time made it hard to use as my actual new tab.
kickstart keeps that idea, but stores the setup locally, keeps the URL stable, and loads from the edge. you can export a setup when you move machines, import an existing StartTreeV2 URL, or use optional encrypted sync.
i use a new tab dozens of times a day, so i have tried to keep the tree readable, the search quick, and every widget optional. i'd love for you to try it! tell me what feels slow, unnecessary, or unclear.
