KetoScanner was hunted by SNTRVN. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. Hey Product Hunt,
KetoScanner came from a small but recurring frustration: checking whether something fits a keto or low-carb diet should not require doing nutrition maths in the supermarket aisle.
The flow is simple:
1. Scan the barcode for a quick product lookup.
2. If the barcode is missing or unhelpful, snap the nutrition label.
3. See the keto score, net carbs, fat, protein, and Nutri-Score where available.
The goal is to make low-carb shopping feel quick and obvious, not analytical. Barcode scanning works without an account, and scan history and favourites stay on your device.
I would love your feedback on the moment that matters most: does KetoScanner get you from product-in-hand to a confident decision fast enough? What would make that answer even clearer?
