Hi, Product Hunt! I'm Greg, the founder of Keppt.
I've spent decades building software, but the idea for Keppt came from a much more ordinary problem: paperwork.
Having lived and worked across multiple countries, I'd accumulated years of passports, visas, tax records, insurance policies, medical documents, warranties, receipts and other important paperwork. I had plenty of places where I could store those documents. What I didn't have was a good way to actually use the information inside them.
That became the starting point for Keppt.
Keppt doesn't just save a document. It understands what it's looking at, organises it, pulls out important information, keeps track of dates and lets you ask questions about what's inside.
We also knew from the beginning that if we were going to ask people to trust Keppt with important personal documents, privacy couldn't be an afterthought. There are no ads, no tracking, no selling of user data, and your documents aren't used to train general AI models.
We're launching today across iPhone, iPad, Android, macOS and web, and you can use the full Keppt experience free with up to 10 documents.
