KeepTase
Turn scattered recipes into a real cookbook.
KeepTaste gathers your recipes - from blog links, screenshots, cookbook photos or handwritten notes - into one offline app, no account needed. Organize into cookbooks, search by title, mark recipes "to try." Cook hands-free: screen stays awake, text enlarges for reading across the counter. Build shopping lists from recipes, tick items off in-store. Back up tozip or Markdown, export as PDF. No accounts, subscriptions, ads or cloud - your data stays on your device.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built KeepTaste because my recipes were scattered everywhere — bookmarked blog posts I'd never find again, screenshots from friends, a card box from my mum, and a stack of half-transcribed notes on my phone. I wanted one place to actually keep them, without signing up for yet another account or handing my data to a cloud service. A few things I focused on: Bring recipes in from wherever they already are — paste a blog link and it pulls out just the ingredients and method (no ads, no life story intro). Paste text from a message. Photograph a cookbook page — recognized on-device, fully offline. Even handwriting works: the app preps the photo and a ready-made prompt for your own AI tool, you paste the answer back in. Or just send a recipe straight from the system Share menu. Cook without touching your phone — screen stays awake, one tap enlarges the text so you can read it from across the counter. Everything stays local — no accounts, no subscriptions, no analytics. Full backup to .zip or plain Markdown, so you're never locked in.

Who hunted KeepTase?
KeepTase was hunted by Damian Małecki. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
