A birthday and a paint code are not the same object, but your phone treats them identically — sorted by date, findable only by scrolling. So the paint code is effectively gone the moment you take it. I kept photographing things I'd need later — the paint I'd have to match, the model number on the back of the washing machine, the wine label, the router sticker. Then they'd sink under three years of holiday photos and I'd never find them again.
Keeplea is where those go instead. You photograph something, it works out what it is — brand, model, colour code, serial, dates — and keeps it as fields rather than a photo with a caption. Weeks later you ask for it the way you'd describe it to a person: "the boiler certificate", "the washing machine serial number".
