Hi Product Hunt. I built Kayment because Irish VAT is genuinely fiddly, and every invoicing tool I tried treated it as an afterthought: one VAT rate per invoice, reverse charge as a free-text note you type yourself, and a VAT3 figure you reconstruct in a spreadsheet at the end of the period. Two things I wanted to get right. The invoice is the payment page. Your customer opens a link and pays there, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or SEPA. No account to create, nothing to install, no login to forget. That removes the most common reason an invoice sits unpaid. VAT lives on the line, not on the invoice. 23%, 13.5%, 9%, zero-rated and exempt can each sit on their own line; reverse charge is issued with the wording Revenue expects and reported away from your T1; credit notes are dated to the period they were issued in. The annual return is then a query rather than an archaeology project. One deliberate constraint: payments settle into your own Stripe account. Kayment is not a payment institution and never holds your money, so there is no payout schedule to wait on. It is live and taking real payments. I would genuinely like to hear where it falls short, particularly from anyone invoicing across borders, because that is the part with the most edge cases and the part I am least finished with.
