Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Youcef. I built Katch the Ick, a recent follows tracker for Instagram that runs as a Chrome extension.
If you've ever wanted to see who someone recently followed on Instagram, you know the app used to show following lists in order. It doesn't anymore. Most "recent follows" tools that still claim to either make up the dates or ask for your password.
Katch the Ick does it the honest way:
- Open any public profile and take a snapshot of their followers and following
- It auto-checks in the background
- Every new follow and new follower lands at the top, timestamped, newest first
- Track as many profiles as you want
It runs on your own instagram.com session, so you never type your password into the extension, and the person is never notified. It can't show follows from before you started tracking (no tool honestly can), but it catches every recent follow from then on.
