Hi Product Hunt 👋
The idea for Kanotion came from my experience at university.
I was studying on tight schedules, constantly deciding what deserved my attention and whether the work I was doing was actually helping me learn. I was also one of ChatGPT’s early users, experiencing its public launch while I was still at university and watching other models follow.
I saw AI reshape education in real time. It became easier than ever to generate explanations, notes, questions, and flashcards. But generating more content did not solve the harder problems: knowing what to study next, retaining what you learn, and turning knowledge into something you can use.
I am no longer at university, but learning has not stopped. As AI continues to change education and work, I believe self-directed learning will become increasingly important. People will need better ways to keep learning, develop practical capabilities, and adapt throughout their lives.
Kanotion was built with all of this in mind.
