I'm Praveen, and I built k8sight because I was tired of juggling kubectl, a browser dashboard, a separate scanner and a cost tool just to understand one cluster.
k8sight is a desktop app that reads your kubeconfig and puts it all in one window:
• Live dashboard, logs, a real pod shell, topology and Helm
• Argo CD, built in
• A Security Center: image CVEs, config and RBAC audits, via your Trivy Operator reports or a bundled Trivy
• Costs from OpenCost or Kubecost, by namespace, workload and node
• EKS, AKS and GKE clusters added without any cloud CLI
• An optional AI assistant that runs on your own model
It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, it's free and open source, and there's a demo mode if you want to try it without a cluster.
