I'm the maker of JustNow Backups. At BasicCreative in Istanbul we build WordPress plugins, and three jobs come up on almost every site: taking a reliable full backup, changing URLs in the database without breaking serialized data, and cleaning up years of revisions and drafts.
We wanted one free plugin that does all three well, without size limits and without timing out on ordinary shared hosting:
• Full-site backups with no size limit: database, core, plugins, themes and media
• Everything runs in small chunks, so long jobs finish even on limited hosting
• Search & replace that keeps serialized and JSON data intact, with a simulation first
• Database cleanup with WordPress' own functions
• Your backups stay on your own server. Nothing is sent to us

The free plugin is complete for backing up and restoring your own site. Pro adds migration to another site, package import, history and undo.
