Just Click Networks

A series of anti-engagement websites

Just Click Networks is a collection of intentionally simple" dead end websites" designed to interrupt compulsive online behaviors through low stimulation and non-reinforcing interaction. Each site mimics familiar internet actions like scrolling, searching, refreshing, and clicking while removing feeds, algorigthms, recommendations, and engagement loops. The project explorers behavioral replacement, intentional internet use, digital minimalism, and low stimulation web design.

Top comment

I built Just Click Networks after realizing how much of modern internet behavior is automatic. Not just social media, but the constant urge to: scroll, refresh, search, click, check, and consume something new. Most platforms are intentionally designed around stimulation, engagement, novelty, and behavioral reinforcement. I wanted to experiment with the opposite: low stimulation, dead ends, and intentionally non-rewarding interaction. So I built a small network of intentionally pointless websites that mimic familar online actions while removing the algorithms, feeds, recommendations, and endless discovery loops. The idea isn't productivity. It isn't "quit the internet forever." It's interuption. A small behavioral redirect for moments when you instinctively open another tab, app, feed, or search box. Ironically, the project itself became a kind of commntary of internat culture: marketing dead-end websites using the same systems designed to capture attention. So far the response has ranged from: "this is actually useful" to "this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen." Which honestly feels like a good sign.
