JSON Workbench

Privacy-first JSON & JWT tools that run in your browser

JSON Workbench started because I kept hitting the same wall: pasting real data (tokens, configs, payloads) into random online tools felt risky, and I never knew where that data actually went. So I built a set of dev tools, JSON formatter, JWT debugger, CSV to JSON converter, Excel compare, and more, that run fully in your browser. Nothing gets uploaded, nothing touches a server. If you handle sensitive JSON or JWTs at work and can't paste them into cloud tools or LLMs, this is built for you.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Rashid, a full stack engineer, and JSON Workbench started from a problem I kept running into at work. I'd need to quickly decode a JWT or format some JSON, and the fastest option was always some random online tool. But I never actually knew where that pasted data went. For anything even slightly sensitive, that always felt wrong. So I built JSON Workbench as a set of tools, JSON formatter, JWT debugger, CSV to JSON converter, Excel compare, and a few more, that run entirely in your browser. Nothing gets uploaded, nothing touches a server, and there's zero data transmission. You get the convenience without the risk. It's still evolving. I recently added a persistent tab strip to the Base64 tool so people stop losing their previous results every time they decode something new, which came directly from watching how I use these tools myself. Would love to hear what you think, and what tools or features you'd want to see next.
