JSON-LD Structured Data Validator API
Validate a page's schema.org JSON-LD, as JSON
Give it a page URL, or paste JSON-LD or HTML, and get a JSON report on the schema.org structured data: every JSON-LD block is parsed and checked for @context, @type, required and recommended properties of common rich-result types and typical value mistakes. Coded issues with JSON paths, a grade (A+ to F) and a score out of 100. For SEO audits and CI gates.
Hi everyone, this is JSON-LD Structured Data Validator API.
Give it a page URL (or paste JSON-LD or HTML) and it extracts every JSON-LD block, parses it, resolves @graph and @id references and validates each node. You get JSON back: coded issues with a JSONPath-style location, an overall grade (A+ to F), a score out of 100, and for each rich-result type whether its required properties are present.
Checks cover @context and @type, required and recommended properties of common Google rich-result types (Article, Product, Offer, Review, BreadcrumbList, FAQPage, Event, Recipe, VideoObject, JobPosting, LocalBusiness and more) and typical value mistakes such as non-ISO dates, relative URLs, prices with currency symbols and invalid currency codes. Other types get generic checks only.
The richResults field only means no required-property errors were found; it does not guarantee that Google will show a rich result, and Google's own tools remain the final word. The score uses our own weighting.
Two endpoints:
- GET /v1/check?url= reads the page (up to 5 redirects, first 2 MB of HTML) and validates its JSON-LD. Cached for 6 hours per URL; fresh=1 bypasses the cache.
- POST /v1/validate checks JSON-LD or HTML you send in (up to 256 KB), offline, with no outbound request.
Limits: only JSON-LD in the served HTML is validated (no JavaScript rendering; Microdata and RDFa are detected but not validated). Sites that block datacenter traffic return grade unchecked. Private-network targets are rejected.
Examples measured on 2026-10-16: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat scored A+ (97) and schema.org scored A (95), both with no errors or warnings.
Where to find it: RapidAPI (public, https://rapidapi.com/tossneon0/a...), API.Market and APIHub; Zyla is in review. Product site: https://jsonld.glowhalo.org
Feedback on the checks and the scoring is welcome.
