Journali
The trading journal that actually makes you a better trader
The professional trading journal for futures, options, stocks and forex. Track every trade, analyze your performance, and fix your losing habits. Free to start.
What inspired this: I'm a futures trader. For years I tried every trading journal — spreadsheets, Tradervue, Edgewonk, Tradezella — and every single one died at some point. The spreadsheet died at week 2. The fancy desktop apps died because logging a trade meant booting up my laptop and clicking through three tabs. The $99/mo SaaS died because I resented paying premium prices for basic features locked behind upgrade paywalls.
The problem we were solving: traders don't fail because their strategy is bad. They fail because they have no data on what they're actually doing. And every existing journal makes collecting that data so slow or expensive that 90% of traders give up within a month.
So we built Journali with three hard constraints:
1. Logging a trade has to take 30 seconds or less — from phone or desktop
2. The AI has to read YOUR actual trade data and give real feedback, not generic "stick to your plan" templates
3. Pricing can't be a billing funnel — Free tier is real, Pro is $20, Premier (with AI) is $30, cancel anytime
How the process evolved: we started focused on analytics depth. Beautiful charts. Complex win-rate breakdowns. Then we started watching actual users and realized — the analytics don't matter if you can't get the data in. So we rebuilt the entire trade entry flow around speed. Everything else — the AI coach, the broker auto-sync via SnapTrade, the prop firm limit tracking, the strategies library — followed from "how do we make this the journal people actually use every day, not the one they use for two weeks and abandon."
Happy to answer anything today. Genuinely curious: what trading journal have you tried that DIDN'T stick? What broke the habit for you? I want to keep learning what makes journaling die for people.
