Hi Product Hunt! 👋
The reason why I created JobLens AI was first and foremost for myself. I spent hours scrolling LinkedIn's job pages and was incredibly frustrated that I couldn't:
1) Quickly spot promoted, viewed, and applied jobs.
2) Hide them permanently at will.
3) Stop the native UI from re-showing jobs I had already dismissed.
So, I built a Chrome extension to fix the feed. I also added a way to highlight custom keywords directly in the job tile and a blacklist to instantly block companies you don't want to see. All of this runs locally and is 100% free.
To save even more time, I built a privacy-first AI integration that skips the wall of text. It instantly extracts Must-Haves, Preferred Skills, General Requirements, and verified Salary data. Because job hunting is temporary, I didn't want to lock people into monthly subscriptions for this. The AI features are available via short-term access passes (Weekly/90-day) or a one-time Lifetime BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) option. I also send an email a few days before any renewal, just in case you've landed a job and want to easily cancel.
