Hey PH! I'm Joe, founder of JetWell. I built this because I'm a two-time medical tourist myself.
A few years ago I got a hair transplant in Istanbul. Quotes in the US were $15,000 to $20,000. I paid $3,050 in Turkey for 3,800 grafts at a clinic that was honestly nicer than any medical facility I've been to in the States. Then I got LASIK in Bangkok for $1,700 and turned it into a family trip. The total cost of the procedure plus three weeks in Thailand was less than what LASIK alone would have cost me at home.
Both experiences were incredible, but figuring it all out on my own was not. Finding a clinic you can actually trust means hours on Google, Reddit, and YouTube trying to separate real reviews from paid ones. There's no standard vetting, no protection if something goes wrong, and no one place that handles the whole thing and actually looks out for you.
