This is an app I've wanted to build for years, and only now have been able to get it to fruition. As a Linux hobbyist and advocate since the early days of Ubuntu, I've often recommended Linux to frustrated Windows users. But even downloading Linux and creating a live USB is confusing for the average computer user.
IWantLinux bridges that skill gap, helping less experienced users try Linux for the first time, or more confident beginners install it easily. It downloads ISOs of Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Zorin, or Aurora (your choice) from official mirrors, and SHA-256 verifies everything before writing to USB. Each page of the app has helpful descriptions and easy to understand non-technical prompts.
I really hope it will help new users around the world experience Linux for the first time, and see what a great alternative it is to Windows and Mac.
