IWAJ — I Want A Job
No job listings. Show your work, get handpicked.
IWAJ flips hiring. There are no job posts to apply to. You put up your real work, with GitHub auto-imported into a proof card, and companies browse the wall and handpick who they like. Get picked and you get an intro email with their contact.
After one too many applications into the void, I wanted the opposite of a job board. So I built IWAJ.
How it works:
You put up your work: GitHub, portfolio, writing. For engineers, type your GitHub username and it pulls your repos, stars, languages and last shipped date into a proof card.
Companies browse the wall and hit Handpick.
You get an intro email with the company's contact. No cover letters, no ghosting.
It's free and early. I'd love your honest feedback, especially from anyone who hires: what would make you trust a profile enough to reach out?
