Hi PH! I built this after the 2026 stories about popular Chrome extensions quietly collecting user data. What got me: an extension with "read and change all your data on all websites" can see everything you type — passwords, messages, cookies — and almost nobody checks which of theirs has that access.
"Is This Safe?" makes it a one-click check. It reads your installed extensions, scores each 0–100, explains in plain English what it can access, and flags the riskiest. It runs entirely on your device — no network requests, nothing collected. A privacy tool that phoned home would defeat the point.
