Hey Product Hunt 👋 We’re building InvesTTable because startup discovery for investors still feels like digging through stale databases and polished pitch decks. The only "innovation" these days is - of course - AI sorry SI founder and investor matching, AI pitch-deck analysis, AI video-pitch analysis and I don't really believe that this gets to the bottom of screening and finding suitable startups to invest in and empower.
Our first version was just one thing: scores calculated live on financial metrics, so you always see what’s true today. Then we noticed a score only gets you so far. When something looks interesting, you want a human who has no stake in the deal to look at it. So we added independent DD experts you can bring in on request. Furthermore, startups do not necessarily only search for money. I mean boy there's a boat load of needs, so we're trying to match strategic partners in terms of manufacturing and fulfilment with the founding teams too.
We’re still learning what belongs in our scoring and what needs a human. However, I'm certain that we chose an approach that isn't really out there right now but much needed. In our own little "founder-bubble" we see a lot of glazing and somehow selling - metaphrorically spoken - cans filled with hot air. With InvesTTable, we wanna tackle exactly that.
