intwise

Meet nearby. No internet, no cloud account.

intwise is a Bluetooth networking wallet. Meet nearby, scan a live QR, both approve, and exchange only what you chose. No mobile data, no Wi-Fi, no cloud account. A screenshot of the QR is not enough. The other phone has to be in the room. Android is live.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt — I built intwise for a gap I kept hitting.

Two people can stand next to each other and still have no way to connect. WhatsApp, iMessage, LinkedIn all assume a cloud, an account, and a working internet path. That fails on a flight, at a conference, on campus, anywhere the network drops.

intwise is a Bluetooth networking wallet:
• Meet nearby, both phones unlocked, Bluetooth on
• Scan a live QR (a screenshot or photo of the code is not enough)
• Both people approve
• Exchange only the details you chose
• Chat nearby, stored on the phone

No mobile data. No Wi-Fi. No cloud account. Google Play data safety: no data collected, none shared with third parties.

Android is live. I am not adding an App Store button until that listing is actually public.

I would love feedback from people who care about local-first and privacy. Especially: is the live-QR + Bluetooth handshake obvious enough on first launch?
