I'm a working engineer. Initially, built this app for myself to speed up interview prep. With a proven personal success rate, launched publicly.
I had dead time everywhere: the subway, the back of a taxi, waiting between meetings, but real interview prep meant a laptop and a two-hour block I never had. So the prep didn't happen, and the dead time stayed dead.
Second reason is I could solve a problem alone, then freeze the moment someone watched me and asked me to talk through it. Solving silently and explaining out loud are different skills. Interviews grade the second one. Thinking out loud is the signal, and I'd never once practiced it.
