I've spent 25 years in startups - and one thing I always wanted was a way to keep tabs on my competitors. There's so much you can listen to:
- management changes
- pricing changes
- messaging changes
- product launches
- news, blogs, releases
- job postings
- social posts
- changes on key pages
But really the only thing out there was Google Alerts - and that's just a tiny fraction of the stuff you can listen to.
Sure there are other competitor monitoring tools out there - but I never liked any of them. They're costly, complicated, difficult to use. So I finally decided to build what I always wanted - a service where you just provide the list of companies you care about and IntelHero takes it from there. Here's how it works:
1. You provide companies to monitor (IntelHero will even find and suggest competitors)
2. The service then discovers the target's footprint (blogs, pricing page, social, ...)
3. IntelHero then visits those sites daily, looking for changes, additions, deletions
4. You get daily updates, weekly summaries, and monthly "what does it all mean" reports
