Hi Product Hunt! Most "free" photo cleanup sites upload your picture to a server. I wanted the common edits — erase a stranger, cut out a product, enlarge an old photo — to run on my own machine instead. Inpainting.app runs open-source models (MI-GAN, LaMa, RMBG-1.4, Real-ESRGAN) in the browser with ONNX Runtime Web on WebGPU, with a WebAssembly fallback. Models download once, only after you click, and stay cached, so the second visit is instant and works offline. Honest limits: these are small models, so huge removals over complex scenes won't match big generative tools, and the background model is licensed for non-commercial use. I wrote up what we learned about browser GPU limits in the guides. Feedback very welcome!
