Top comment
Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Paul, and I built Inlark, a fast, keyboard-first email client for Linux, Windows and macOS. I juggle four accounts across a self-hosted server and a couple of IMAP providers, and every client I tried was either slow, cluttered, or wanted my mail to pass through its cloud. So I set out to build the client I wanted: ⌨️ Keyboard first: J/K to move, E to archive, Z to undo anything, Ctrl+K for everything else 📥 One calm inbox: all your JMAP and IMAP accounts together, and replies go out from the right address ⚡ Fast with big archives: Thousands of conversations still scroll smoothly 🛟 Nothing gets lost: drafts are saved locally as you type, and a dropped connection mid-send is never silently re-sent 🔒 Private by default: no Inlark account, no cloud in between, no telemetry. It talks directly to your mail server, and passwords live in your OS keyring. Setup takes about two minutes: type your address and Inlark discovers your server settings and shows you what it found before asking for a password. It's free and open source (AGPL-3.0), and this is v0.1.0, an early preview. I'd love your feedback: what's missing for Inlark to become your daily email client? Bug reports and feature ideas are very welcome here or on GitHub. Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
