Informy
Public-first microblogging without algorithmic manipulation.
An independent, chronological microblogging platform designed to end engagement-farming, rage-bait algorithms, and billionaire-owned feeds.
Hey Product Hunt community 👋
I built **Informy** (https://informy.social) out of deep frustration with what social feeds have become.
Modern social media platforms are optimized for screen time and outrage. Black-box algorithms deliberately amplify conflict, engagement-bait, and sensationalism to juice ad revenue, leaving authentic conversations buried.
Informy is built to reset the microblogging experience:
- **Zero Algorithmic Manipulation:** Strictly chronological feeds. You see what your network posts, in the exact order they post it.
- **No Hidden Levers:** No shadow-ranking, artificial virality triggers, or opaque demotions.
- **Public-First Independence:** Owned by no billionaire or conglomerate. Built to restore signal over noise.
We are available on Web, iOS, and Android. Because we strictly refuse algorithmic feeds, our biggest challenge is the cold-start problem—building high-signal discourse without artificial boosting.
We would love your honest feedback on the onboarding experience and what features you’d like to see in an algorithm-free platform!
Request your support!
thanks
Harish

Who hunted Informy?
Informy was hunted by Harish Mani. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
